You could break banks and pick up Godless Shrines and fetchlands Marsh Flats. As mentioned, you're missing to flashback. I'm not sure what your budget is like, but this is where the suggestions can get pricey, depending how serious you want to get with this build.

1 toughness when it's not exerted seems low. It doesn't trade well if you need it for defense. I'd also consider shaving the Nef-Crop Entangler. If you did that, you wouldn't need the lifelink from Tenacity and could trade to something like To Arms!. In fact, if there are cards you know you want to see every game, I'd make room for 4 of them. It's personally one of my favorite Exert creatures. If you removed all three, you'd have room for a 2nd Glory-Bound Initiate. Three mana for a Lightning Bolt you can sometimes cartouche back seems a bit expensive.
ENTANGLER MTG AR TRIAL
if I had to pick something to drop, I'd say Trial of Zeal. You also have some decent plays with the Exert mechanic and Untappers Village Bell-Ringer Tenacity. Only issue I see if you have no access to to flashback Souls. Your mana-curve isn't the worst, and you have some decent synergy going.ĭoomed Traveler/ Lingering Souls+ Intangible Virtue is excellent. Your deck isn't as terrible as you think. New to Magic? If so, Welcome to the Fold. The core of most warrior decks look extremely similar because those are generally the best warriors out there. Painful Truths.Ģx Thoughtseize2x Anguished Unmaking2x Blessed Alliance2x Kolaghan's Commandĭepending on how competitive your meta is, there's a few other things you might need to add in there. Something on the sideboard for drawing extra cards wouldn't hurt either, e.g. You should definitely use some disruption, probably Thoughtseize in SB otherwise you are highly vulnerable to wipes. He also pairs nice with the painlands, basically having you recover any early self-pain. You also need some wincon finishers, Sorin, Solemn Visitor is my aggro planeswalker of choice here. Maybe if you find space for it, a Mardu Strike Leader. +1 or 2x Brutal Hordechief as a topper / alt win-con.+3x Sorin, Solemn Visitor (Your main wincon with some board state).

I bought 8 of them when they were selling for a buck, I knew that card was going to be broken. Kolaghan's Command is almost a must if you can afford the price (since you got the colors I would put at least 2x in my SB). Instead of Mardu Charm, I would run Secure the Wastes, and for the most part Crackling Doom is kind of worthless in modern, unless you're going up against a control type deck. It will not block Path to Exile, but most people would probably try not to use those up right away. That card's utility is way too good to pass up. Also, in aggro decks, I especially recommend running 2 - 4x Valorous Stance.
